The 'Cherished' series

This series takes a look back at the Summer and Christmas of 1969 through the eyes of 9 year old Adam and 12 year old Jocelyn who in the first book "That Summer We Cherished" find themselves staying at the same farm in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Adam's uncle and aunty, Gary and Karen, own and manage the farm whilst they in turn happen to be godparents to Jocelyn. The children have never met or heard of each other before, and through a happy accident end up having to put up with each other over the summer of '69 where they end up in adventures whilst exploring the farmland and discover they have more in common than they at first realise.
