An introduction to the regular venue for HAW

Minting Village Hall, Bricken Field Lane, Minting, LN9 6RX

Peter Rea and I (Paul) visited Minting Village Hall and were given a tour round. It is available to book (except 2023!) and has great views of the sky with a playing field attached to it which we can use. There is a large Hall that can easily take us and there should be room to set up tables for the main mealtimes as well. Sue Kind will again do the catering and indeed has catered at the hall before. There is a large car park across the road from the Hall which is just for the use of the hall and again it is ideal for what we want. There is also a bar :-)

The people are easy to deal with and happy to help out with ideas and costs.

Minting Village Hall is about 8 miles NW of Horncastle and the map below gives an idea of its location. Minting is still in the Horncastle district so the event will remain the Horncastle Astronomy Weekend.
