Messier 20, the Trifid Nebula in Sagittarius taken during our 2008 holiday at COAA. This image was taken with a modified Canon 300D at ISO 400, the COAA 8" Newtonian and a stack of 10, 90 second exposures combined and processed to bring out the wonderful detail. This is to date Paul's best image of this object.
