The basic Eclipse details for the proposed site (chosen based on cloud cover and local conditions) are: 5m13s of totality First contact: 00h20m19s UT  Second contact 01h32m42s UT Third contact 01h37m55s UT  Forth contact 02h57m25s UT I.e. about 4 minutes longer than we had at Turkey!
Omega's proposed eclipse trip will involve a 5 day trip beginning on July 19th - the following is to be used as a guide only and may change. Basic package: July 19: Fly: London – Shanghai   July 20: Shanghai – Hangzhou: transfer by luxury coach with afternoon to relax. July 21: Hangzhou: This morning, embark on a scenic boat trip upon the beautiful West Lake before paying a visit to Longji Green Tea plantation, Lingyin Temple and the Six Harmonies Pagoda. There will also be lectures by the guest Astronomers. July 22: Hangzhou – Shanghai: Depart from hotel to Eclipse observing site. After eclipse travel to Shanghai. July 23: Shanghai – London: Fly home. Note this is just a basic itinerary and may change during the continuing organising process. There are also plans for optional extensions to the basic package which will involve visits to the Great Wall, Terracotta Army, Forbidden City and much more so keep checking back as more information becomes available and the information firms up with the prices. As it currently stands the basic package may start from £999.00 unless circumstances dictate otherwise. To keep up to date you should always check with Omega Holidays themselves.
